Stimasoft presents the activity trends for 2009

"We are very pleased with our financial results" stated Ionut Taranu, General Manager of Stimasoft, "Apart from these financial data, we are very excited about our new production office opened in Braila, as well for the improving of our project management system, which we are sure that will help us exceed successfully, the delicate phase that is now passing through the whole business."

For 2009 Stimasoft estimated a decreased growth of overall activity, but still positive, following the current trend of the market. "Probably we will not have the same number of projects as last year, but we rely on our old clients, with witch we have over 4 years of collaboration. We estimate a substantial increase of the software dedicated to mobile equipments and of the services for application migration, in the context in which today's operational efficiency is one of the most important criteria for maintaining expenses at a low level.

As completed projects in 2008, Stimasoft recorded a total of more than 30 collaborations, of which 11 were with companies from outside Romania. The innovations in these projects have been: the developing of mobile applications, the migration of databases and their related applications, and especially the realization of projects and applications on multiple platforms concomitant: desktop, online and / or mobile.

For 2009, Stimasoft is preparing a very ambitious project, related to the creation and administration of the first Romanian community of programmers at international standards, called Stimasoft Academy. As the name says, the community will allow besides direct and easy interaction between developers also participation in online courses free of charge and it will make available to those interested all the source codes of applications. We want so to encourage more young programmers and to provide a total transparency, all the elements of the community being open source and empowered to download free of charge.

Stimasoft is working on the outsourcing market since 2003, with a portfolio of clients at European level, both in public and in private area of business, providing web applications and IT solutions that solve the problems of current activity in any area of business, reducing costs and increasing revenue. Stimasoft is a partner of Microsoft and Oracle, that can develop applications based on technologies of both companies, and also using open source technologies.
